This week's Unicorn Diaries features Chloe Gee!
Chloe is an up-and-coming rider from Western Australia. Together with her unicorn 'Tia', she competes in eventing - and has big ambitions for the future.
Describe a day in your life.
A day in my life!! It usually starts with waking up at 5 to go out and ride. I ride for about 45 minutes and then unsaddle and feed up to get inside at 7 to get ready for school. Then I’m at school for most of the day and get home to feed the unicorn and have a catch up and homework and study at the end of the day.
How many Unicorns currently occupy your stables, and who is your favourite?
I only have one unicorn occupying my stables at the moment and that is Tia. We have been together for 5 years now and she is definitely my favourite. I did have Mocha’s Impact last year which now Kate Ingham is taking around the 1 star.
What is something your unicorn does to make you smile?
Something my unicorn does to make me smile would have to be that when I walk outside in the morning, she always neighs at me even when it’s dark.
What are your riding dreams/goals?
My riding dream is, just like a lot of young girls’, is to ride at the Olympics for Eventing. This has always been my dream but now is my goal and every time I get on my unicorn is a mini step closer to that goal.
What are your favourite pair of Two White Socks, and why?
My favourite pair of Two White Socks is the ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ Socks. The first time I wore them was at Interschools this year and I have been in love with them ever since!!
